Kathmandu, Nepal, November 22, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally has reached to 220,308 after 1,669 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
Of the newly recorded cases, 957 new cases were recorded in Kathmandu Valley alone. Of them, 773 are from Kathmandu district while 131 in Lalitpur and 53 in Bhaktapur district.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) 5,699 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery. With the addition, Nepal’s recovery tally has reached to 199,024.
Meanwhile, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has reached to 1321 after sixteen more fatalities related to the virus recorded in the past 24 hours.
