Kathmandu, Nepal, October 31, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally has reached to 170,743 after 2,508 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
Of the newly infected cases of coronavirus, the Kathmandu Valley alone witnessed 1,357 new cases in the past 24 hours. With the addition, Kathmandu valley’s total infection tally has reached to 76,348.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 2,508 people who were tested positive of coronavirus infection out of 9,279 PCR tests carried out in different labs across the country in the last 24 hours.
Similarly, 2,264 people, who had earlier tested positive for COVID-19, have been tested negative in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has reached to 131,222.
Likewise, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has reached to 937 after 17 fatalities related to the coronavirus recorded in the past 24 hours.
