Kathmandu, Nepal, September 2, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection cases tally reached to 41,649 after 1120 new cases reported in the past 24 hours. Of the total infected cases, 388 were from Kathmandu valley alone. 

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), among the newly reported 1120 new cases, 800 were males while 320 were females. 

Meanwhile, 1,112 people, who were earlier tested positive for virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the new addition, Nepal’s coronavirus recovery tally has reached to 23,290.

According to Jageshowr Gautam, spokesperson for the MoHP, there are currently 18,108 active cases of coronavirus across the country.

Likewise, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has reached to 251 after 12 more deaths linked to coronavirus reported in the past 24 hours.
