Kathmandu, Nepal, June 15, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) tally has jumped to 6,211 after 451 new positive cases identified across the country in the last 24 hours on Monday.
According to the Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, of the newly diagnosed patients 416 are males while 35 others are females. With the new figure, 5,740 males and 271 females have got COVID-19 infection so far.
The ministry has also stated that 67 patients, of them 60 were males and seven females, have returned home after recovery in the last 24 hours. With the number, total of 1,041 patients have recovered so far while19 people have died due to the infection for the virus.
