Kathmandu, Nepal, August 30, 2021: Nepal records 1902 new cases of coronavirus infections from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 761,124.

Meanwhile, 1,808 people, who had infected with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 714,520.

Likewise, 16 more fatalities related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 10,730.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 16,233 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 11,892 were PCR tests while 4,341 were antigen tests. 

There are currently 35874 active cases of coronavirus infections from across the country. Of the total active cases, only 338 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
