Kathmandu, Nepal: Newly appointed governors of the 7 seven provincial states are going to take oath of office and secrecy today at Presidential office, Sital Niwas amid a function.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari will administer the oath of office to newly appointed governors at 4:00 pm today.
The office of the president has invited vice president, Prime Minister, ministers, office bearers of the constitutional bodies and other dignitaries including diplomats and from various countries to take participate in the oath taking ceremony.
The government had on Wednesday appointed Govinda Subba, Ratneshwar Lal Kayastha, Anuradha Koirala, Baburam Kunwar, Umakant Jha, Durga Keshar Khanal and Mohan Raj Malla as governors of the province number 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 respectively.
It is said that the newly appointed governors will assume the office after taking oath and secrecy from the president Bhandari.
