Kathmandu, Nepal, June 25, 2022: The newly-appointed Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday to take up his assignment.
Additional Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Srivastav was appointed as the new Indian ambassador to Nepal on last May 17 to replace then Ambassador Vinaya Mohan Kwarta.
The post of Indian Ambassador to Nepal was remained vacant after Kwarta was appointed as Foreign Secretary of Indian government.
Career diplomat Kwarta was heading the East Asia Division of the Ministry of External Affairs that deals with China, Japan, Korea and Mongolia.
