Kathmandu, Nepal, January 17, 2022: Newly appointed ministers from the CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have taken the oath of office and secrecy amid a function at the President's Office, Sital Niwas on Tuesday.
RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden has taken oath of office and secrecy as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Water Resources and Irrigation. With the appointment of Lingden as Deputy Prime Minister, the numbers of Deputy Prime Ministers have reached four.
Similarly, RPP’s Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan and Bikram Pandey have been administered the oath of office and secrecy as the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs as the Minister for Urban Development respectively.
Likewise, RSP’s Shishir Khanal and Dol Prasad Aryal have been administered as the minister for Education science and technology and the Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security respectively. Dr Tosima Karki of RSP has been administered as state Minister of Health and Population.
Similarly, CPN UML’s Dr Bimala Rai Paudyal and Padam Giri have been administered the oath of office and secrecy as Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Minister for Health and Population respectively.
Likewise, CPN (Maoist Center), Rekha Sharma has been administered the oath as the Minister for Communications and Information Technology.
Similarly, Aman Lal Modi, Sudan Kiranti and Sushila Shreepali have been administered as Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and the State minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation respectively.
