Kathmandu, Nepal, October 24, 2019: Spokesperson of the government Gokul Baskota has said that arrested cadres and leaders of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) would not be released until they come up with a peaceful politics by shunning the violent activities.
 
Government spokesperson Baskota has made the revelation while speaking at a regular press meet at Singha Durbar on Thursday. 
 
I would like to make clear here that the government will not lift the ban on outlawed outfit and there is also no chance to release the arrested cadres of the outfit until it shun the violent activities, he said.
 
During his address, he also urged the underground group to enter into mainstream politics by abiding the constitution and law of the land. 
 
Responding to the recent concerns over the alleged loyalty of the government and its head Nepal Communist Party (NCP) towards the northern neighbor China, Baskota said that government wants to maintain balanced relations with the neighboring countries.
