Kathmandu, Nepal, October 16, 2020: Chairmen duo of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) agreed to mend the widening relationship on Wednesday.
A meeting held between the chairmen duo KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal have agreed to mend the widening relationship on the give-and-take basis.
As per the understanding, which is not revelaed at officially, Prime Minister Oli withdraws the ordinance issued on Tuesday regarding the Constitutional Council (CC) meeting procedure.
Likewise, Dahal has agreed to withdraw his political paper from the party’s Standing Committee meeting.
With the agreement, both the chairmen will present a single proposal combining the previous two political documents presented in the Secretariat of the party.
Likewise, Dahal has also agreed to stop the signature campaign made for summoning the House session.
Earlier today, as many as 80 lawmakers close to the rival faction had submitted a memorandum to President Bidya Devi Bhandari to summon the House session at the earliest.
