Kathmandu, Nepal: A meeting held on Saturday between newly appointed Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and CPN-MC Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal failed to iron out in the differences seen in the issue of party unification. 

In the meeting held at Oli’s Balkot of Bhaktapur based residence, the chairs of the two major communist parties of Nepal discussed about one and half hour concentration on the issue of unification between the two parties.

As the CPN Maoist has forwarded precondition of party unification before it's participation in the government, the top brass of the two parties sat today to settle the differences seen in the party unification process, a Maoist Center leader said. 

It is said that the party unification coordination committee meeting will be held Sunday to settle the remaining issues of party unification process.
