Kathmandu, Nepal, August 26, 2020: The ongoing prohibitory order issued by three District Administration Offices (DAOs) in the Kathmandu Valley- Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur has been extended for a week.
As the week long prohibitory order imposed earlier is going to end from mid-night today, a meeting of the Chief District Officers of three districts held on Wednesday decided to extend the ongoing prohibitory order until September 2.
Earlier, Mayor’s forum in Kathmandu and District COVID-19 Crisis Management Centers of the three districts had recommended the DAOs to extend the ongoing lockdown for another one week.
