Kathmandu, Nepal: Final rites of Former Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and senior communist leader Bharat Mohan Adhikari is going to be held at Pashupati Aryaghat on Sunday evening.
Various leaders, family members and people from different walks of life have thronged at the party office to offer condolence to late Adhikari.
Before the final rites event, Adhikari’s body is kept at the central party office of Nepal Communist Party in Dhumbarahi for condolences. Final rite processing will begin after 12 pm, the NCP has said.
Adhikari passed away on Saturday evening at the age of 82 due to ailments related to the lungs and heart.
He was admitted at Dhumbarahi-based HAMS Hospital about two weeks before after he complained of chest pain.
