Kathmandu, Nepal: Standing Committee meeting of the CPN UML has authorized its Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to pick the names of the Ministers.
The meeting held on Friday at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar handed over the responsibility of appointing ministers after party faced internal differences due to high number of aspirants from different groups.
The CPN UML and the CPN Maoist Center had agreed to divide the post of Ministers among the two parties. But both the parties have failed to settle the internal differences to pick the names.
It was believed earlier that the cabinet will be expanded by Wednesday. But it was not happed due to the internal differences in the two big communist parties of the country.
