Kathmandu, Nepal, November 28, 2022: The Nepali actress turned producer Pooja Sharma is now in Doha, Qatar, for her upcoming film, Ram Kahani. She is producing the film after her successful cinematic debut with Three Lovers and with Prem Geet, the highest collection Nepali film.
Pooja, who had moved to Canada for master degree in tourism and education, was featured in a couple of music videos before landing an unabridged role for a film. She now shifted to producer eyeing a change in perception about the Nepali film industry.
The film, which is scheduled to release on coming September 7, is a romantic/comedy genre that follows the struggles of an adult, who returns from the Gulf to Nepal in maintaining his love life, Pooja has said.
According to her, the film is also going to feature some part of the story about the foreign workers living in a Gulf country. Hundreds of thousand Nepali migrant workers are in golf countries for foreign employment.
