Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepal Police have arrested 16 persons including employees of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), the government power monopoly, for their alleged involvement in power thefts from different parts of the Kathmandu on Sunday.
 
A team of Nepal Police mobilized from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD) arrested a technician, eight meter readers, a former NEA employee and six persons allegedly in the power thefts.
