Kathmandu, Nepal, June 26, 2022: Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota has revealed that the preparations are underway to pass the Citizenship Bill from the ongoing session of the parliament.
The Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has been consulting with the leaders of the ruling allies and the opposition parties to pass the Citizenship Bill, Speaker Sapkota said while speaking at a program on Sunday.
Citizens have lost opportunities due to the lack of citizenship, Speaker Sapkota said.
