Kathmandu, Nepal, June 24, 2021: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appointed 20 office bearers in different constitutional bodies. The office of the president has informed on Monday regarding the appointment stating that appointment was made as per the recommendation of the government and the constitutional provision.
The new office bearers have become lucky to get appointed sans public hearing in the parliamentary committee though the constitution has made provision regarding the hearing.
Likewise, the newly appointed office bearers had also not recommended from the full body of the constitutional council, the constitutional body responsible to recommend to appoint in the constitutional bodies. The government had introduced an ordinance to ease out the process.
