Kathmandu, Nepal: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has on Friday certified the bill of local level election. The bill was endorsed by the Legislature-Parliament on June 8.
The President’s Office has informed about the endorsement of the bill through a press statement. The enactment was in accordance with the Article 113.2 of the Constitution, states the press release.
With the endorsement of the bill, the way is paved to the agitating Rastriya Janata Party Nepal to participate in the second phase of local level election by registering the party in the Election Commission.
