Kathmandu Nepal, July 2, 2020: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has prorogued the ongoing session of the federal parliament at the recommendation of the government on Thursday.
The current session of Federal Parliament will come to an end effective from 5:00 pm today, states the press statement issued by the President Bhandadi.
A cabinet meeting held on Thursday afternoon had decided to prorogate the session of the federal parliament after party faced serious differences on key contentious issues of the party and the government.
