Kathmandu, Nepal, May 3, 2020: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has on Sunday summoned the budget session of the federal parliament on May 8 as of the recommendation made by the government earlier today.
The president has called the sessions of both the House of Representatives and National Assembly for May 8 in accordance with Article 93 (1) of the Constitution, states the press release issued in the sign of Keshav Ghimire, spokesperson for the President's Office.
As of the release, the meeting will place at 4 pm at the federal parliament Building, New Baneswar.
A cabinet meeting held earlier today had decided to recommend to the President Bhandari to call the budget session of the Federal Parliament from May 8.
