Kathmandu, Nepal, August 1, 2021: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has been mulling to expand cabinet by Monday (tomorrow) even though the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led faction of the CPN UML is in dilemma over the issue of joining in the government.
As the Nepal led faction of the CPN UML has divided over the issue of joining in the government, leader Nepal has failed to take a concerted decision over the issue of joining in the government, a leader close to the faction, who is in favor of joining in the government, said preferring anonymity.
According to him some leaders namely, Surendra Pandey, Gokarna Bista, Ghanashyam Bhusal and Ravindra Bhattrai have been exerting pressure to Nepal not to haste to take decision to join in the government but to indulge on talks to settle out the differences and to keep the party undivided.
Withstanding to the call made by the Prime Minister Deuba to reach on conclusion over the issue of division of ministerial posts among the coalition partners, CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal met Nepal today and held talks over the issue of joining in the government.
