Kathmandu, Nepal, February 28, 2021: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chairman of his led faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has challenged the Dahal-Nepal led rival faction of the party to oust him from the post of Prime Minister through the no-confidence motion. 
 
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of an industrial estate in his home district, Jhapa on Sunday, PM Oli challenged the Dahal-Nepal faction to table no-confidence motion and endorse from the restored House of Representatives (HoR). 

I am elected Prime Minister with majority votes in the parliamentary party; Prime Minister Oli said further stating that he would garner two third majority votes in the next election if he was removed from the post of Prime Minister. 

Responding to the writ petitions filed against of the government’s decision to dissolve the parliament, the Supreme Court (SC) had on December 20 passed the verdict to restore the dissolved parliament.
