Kathmandu, Nepal: the souring relationship between the leftist allies and the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) is being mended with the aim to strike a deal before Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s scheduled visit to India.
The leaders from the leftist alliance particularly the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli have been approaching the FSFN chairman Upendra Yadav to take into confidence.
Earlier, the possible deal between the government allies and the FSFN was disturbed due to the differences over the issue of sharing powers in the government.
It is likely that Prime Minister Oli would hand over the Ministry of Foreign affairs to the FSFN chairman Yadav if it agrees to participate in the government. The FSFN had been insisting the ministry though it had forwarded other issues related to the constitution.
