Kathmandu, Nepal: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s planned neighboring country India’s visit is confirmed for April 6-8.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Prime Minister Oli will leave for India on April 6 leading Nepali delegations at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
Continuing the tradition of Nepal Prime Minister to visit India first, Prime Minister Oli also decided to visit India first.
This is Prime Minister Oli’s first maiden foreign trip after assuming the office on February 15.
As India had imposed blockade and different agreements were also signed with China during his first tenure as the Prime Minister, it was believed earlier that Prime Minister Oli would opt China to visit first.
It is said that cabinet ministers, members of parliament, secretaries and other high-ranking government officials will be included in the team led by Prime Minister Oli.
