Kanchanpur, Nepal: Responding to the violence in Kanchanpur district, the government has formed a probe panel under the leadership of Joint Secretary Hari Prasad Mainal on Thursday.
Similarly, the government has also transferred Chief District Office (CDO) Kumar Bahadur Khadka. Taranath Ghimire has been appointed as CDO of the Kanchanpur district.
At least eight people including two police personnel were injured in a scuffle erupted after open fire against the protesters in Kanchanpur on Thursday.
