Kathmandu, Nepal, September 2, 2020: The district administration offices (DAOs) of the Kathmandu Valley have decided to extend ongoing prohibitory order for one more week.
With the decision, the ongoing prohibitory order will remain into effect till September 9.
A meeting of the Chief District Officers (CDOs) of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur took a decision to this effect on Wednesday.
The two-week-long prohibitory order that was imposed earlier is going expire from today midnight.
The decision to extend the prohibitory order has come at the time when number of coronavirus infections cases has drastically been jumping high in Kathmandu valley and other parts of the country.
