Kathmandu, Nepal, June 13, 2020: Protest against of the government continued even on Saturday in different parts of the country including in Kathmandu valley.
A loose alliance of Nepali youth has been protesting across the country demanding accountability to deal against of the spreading threat of coronavirus (COVID-19).
The protesters have alleged the government of involving in corruption in the pretext of controlling the coronavirus demanding transparence of expenditure made on the name of containing the virus.
Meanwhile, police have arrested at least ten persons including seven foreigners from the premises of Maitighar Mandal during the course of protest.
It is said that the detainees foreigners include three Chinese, two American nationals one each Australian and Canadian nationals. The foreigners were arrested when they were taking photographs.
