London: Rajendra Pudasaini has been elected as the President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) UK chapter. Pudasaini elected in the coveted post by defeating his two competitors Govinda Kharel and Manish Khatri.
According to the vote count that concluded last night, Pudasaini has secured 1,482 votes while his nearest contender Kharel secured 977 votes while Khatri secured just 496 votes.
Similarly, Ujjwal Karki, Dr Raksha Thapa and Ram Prasad Kandel have been elected as the Vice-Presidents, Diwakar Pandey as the General Secretary, DN Kharal and Krishna Devkota as the Secretary.
Likewise, Bishnu Kharel and Chhabilal Aryal have been elected the members. Rammaya Bista Thapa has been elected as the England State Council President post.
