Kathmandu, Nepal, November4, 2022: Rape victim Niharika Rajput son’s DNA has matched with the rape accused Shiva Raj Shrestha.
The High Court in Janakpur has confirmed that the DNA of Niharika's son and Shrestha's DNA have matched while conducting tests a.t the National Forensic Science Laboratory at Khumaltar in Lalitpur.
Niharika Rajput had been launching series of strike claiming that her son’s DNA has to be tested with the DNA of Shiva Raj Shrestha claiming that she was raped by him. She had also demanding actions against of the raped accused Shrestha.
