Kathmandu, Nepal, July 4, 2024: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has suspended its general secretary and spokesperson Dr Mukul Dhakal.
Party’s central committee meeting held on Wednesday night made the decision on the recommendation of the party's Disciplinary Commission.
With the decision to suspend Dr. Dhakal, the meeting also decided to appoint party's Joint General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti as acting General Secretary and Joint General Secretary Manish Jha as acting spokesperson.
The RSP has faced internal turmoil after Dr. Dhakal raised question marks against of the party’s Chairman Ravi Lamichhane.
