Kathmandu, Nepal, July 11, 2024: Relief is felt in Nepal after reduced monsoon rainfall from Monday. 

The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said that decrease in rainfall is expected across Nepal. Reduced monsoon rainfall has become possible after low-pressure line near Nepal, the MDF has stated. 

The MFD, however, has forecasted light to moderate rain in most parts of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, with heavy rain in one or two areas. Likewise, Madhesh, Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces may also experience light to moderate rainfall in certain locations.

Since the onset of the monsoon, a total of 62 people have died. According to the reports, four people have still been missing in the floods while 90 others have injured due to monsoon-induced disasters like floods, landslides, and lightning.
