Kathmandu, Nepal, September 8, 2022: Chairperson of the Rastriya Janamorcha Nepal Chitra Bahadur KC has said that the incumbent alliance formed under the leadership of the ruling head Nepali Congress was for the protection of the constitution and system established from the popular movement.
Addressing an election campaign in Baglung on Monday, Chairperson KC also said that the ruling alliance will win the approaching November 20 election due to the reason of agenda of protecting the constitution and the system. The regressive force emerged on the name of alliance under the leadership of the CPN UML will lose the election due to their regressive attitude, he said.
“As the UML had repeatedly dissolved the parliament letting space to the regressive forces, it would defeat the election as it has no moral even to request the people for votes, KC said. During the function, he also alleged the UML stating as “the constitution will be destroyed and monarchy returned if the UML wins the elections.”
KC, who is also the candidate from Baglung-1 on behalf of the ruling alliance for the House of Representatives (HoR), said November 20 is the day to punish the regressive elements. Justifying his candidacy for the HoR member again, KC said “I wanted to be elected again so as to take initiative to make law and policy for people's development.”
