Kathmandu, Nepal, January 09, 2022: Incumbent coalition government has unveiled its Common Minimum Program (CMP) on Monday incorporating various ambitious plans from ranges of taking the country’s economic growth rate close to double digits to making sustainable development, increasing domestic production, reducing public expenditure, and promoting employment and entrepreneurship.
In the CMP, the ruling alliance have also vowed for strengthening of territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence even stating that they will try to bring back the encroached Nepali territories of Limpiyadhura, Kalapani and Lipulek. However, the common minimum program has stated nothing about the disputed issues with the northern neighbor, China.
Development of agriculture, forest, industry, tourism, information technology and physical infrastructure in participation of private sector is also incorporated in the common minimum program.
