Kathmandu, Nepal, August 31, 2021:The ruling allies of the incumbent government have failed to reach on the consensus to give full shape to the cabinet. Notwithstanding the widespread criticism for the delay to expand the cabinet, which is directly associated with the performance of the government, the ruling allies have still been squabbling over the issue of distributing the ministries, particularly the lucrative one.
Though the blame behind the delay to expand the cabinet was labeled to the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal (JSPN) and the newly formed CPN (United Socialist) for the delay to pick the names to send in the government, it is revealed that the ruling allies have been squabbling over the issue of distributing the ministries.
A meeting held on Monday failed to reach on consensus after leaders failed to settle the differences seen over the issue of distribution of ministries among the coalition partners. The meeting was ended with the consensus to sit again on Tuesday.
