Kathmandu, Nepal, January 29, 2022: Main leaders of the five ruling allies have suggested the government to hold local level elections by mid June.
A meeting of the ruling allies held at Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s official resident on Saturday evening decided to this effect.
According to the government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, the government would fix the date by holding consultation with the concerned stake holders including the Election Commission.
