Kathmandu, Nepal, April 5, 2021: The ruling head Nepali Congress has formed 28 member Local-Level Election-2079 Manifesto Preparation Committee (LLEMPC) under the leadership of party’s General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa.
President Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the Prime Minister, nominated 28 members in the committee on Monday. Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the party held on February 15 had decided to form the committee under the leadership of General Secretary Thapa.
In the committee, Prof Dr Govinda Raj Pokharel, Dr Arzoo Rana Deuba, Dr Jugal Bhurtel, Dr Indra Adhikari, Dr Avimanyu Singh, Dr Buddhi man Shrestha, Jagdish Bhattarai, Pratap Poudel, Shankar Tiwari, Purushottam Nepal, Kantika Saijuwal, Gururaj Ghimire, Kiran Giri, Hari Prabha Khadgi, Bhim Dhungana, Madhu Acharya, Ajaybabu Siwakoti, Uma Thapa Magar, Bhupandra Rai, Mamta Mahato, Geja Sharma Wagle, Nripa Bahadur Ode, Dilip Pratap Khand, Bamsha Lal Tamang, Bijay Shankar Yadav,Manish Jha, Jimi Lama and Shilshila Acharya are nominated as members.
