Kathmandu, Nepal, September 20, 2022: Nepalese student Sagar Guvaju has won the gold medal in the Sunshine Coast Open Taekwondo Championship held in Australia.
According to the media reports, Sagar won the gold medal by defeating Australia’s Jane Mansfield by a wide margin in the second round to turn the result in his favor in the men’s 74 kg final.
Sagar, had gone to Australia for study last month. He was a player of the national team. He used to play for the departmental team Tribhuvan Army.
