Kathmandu, Nepal: Newly formed Rabindra Mishra-led Sajha Party and Ujjwal Thapa-led Bibeksheel Nepali Dal have unified as a single party. The unification of both the parties was announced as the Bibeksheel Sajha Party amid a press conference on Wednesday.
The two parties were formed earlier on the name of giving alternative of the existing political parties. It was announced even in the press conferences that unified party newly formed Bibeksheel Sajha Party will give alternative of existing political force for the prosperity of the country.
The logo Taraju (scale) which was being used by Sajha Party will be the electoral symbol of the newly formed party. As per the agreement the new party will have a 34-member central committee – with 17 members from each party.
In the press conferences, it was announced that the newly formed party will be chaired by Rabindrea Mishra and both Mishra and Thapa jointly coordinate the committee.
Likewise, Taraju (scale) will be used as electoral symbol of the newly formed party. Earlier Sajha Party had used the same symbol as election symbol.
Similarly, the newly formed party will have a 34-member central committee with 17 members from each party.
In the conferences it was also announced that inclusive democracy and economical prosperity will be adopted as the guiding principle transform the country as welfare state.
