Kathmandu, Nepal, May 18, 2021: The Supreme Court (SC), the apex court of the country, has on Tuesday refused to issue an interim order on a writ petition filed against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and six other ministers demanding nullification of oath of office and secrecy taken on last Friday.

Responding to the four separate writ petitions, a single bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JBR refuses to issue interim order however, sought a written clarifications from the defendants including Prime Minister Oli within 15 days not to issue interim order as demanded by the petitioners.

Senior advocate Dr. Chandrakanta Gyawali and advocates- Lokendra Oli, Nawaraj Adhikari, Santosh Bhandari and Raj Kumar Suwal had on Sunday moved to the SC demanding to scrap the oath of office and secrecy taken by PM Oli and six other ministers.
