Kathmandu, Nepal April 25, 2022: Supreme Court (SC), the apex court of the country, has scheduled to hear on the case filed against the suspension of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB)’s governor Maha Prasad Adhikari on Tuesday.

Though the SC had issued a provisional order on April 19 allowing Adhikari to resume his duties, it had ordered both the governor and the government to appear before the court to issue final ruling on the case. 

Governor Adhikari had moved to the SC at the following day after government suspended him on April 8 by initiating investigation against him on the charge of not fulfilling his duties.  a probe panel led by former Justice Purushottam Bhandari was formed to investigate against governor Adhikari. 

The hearing of the case is taken importantly from different sectors.
