Kathmandu, Nepal, October 6, 2019: Senior journalist Rajendra Dev Acharya has passed away on Sunday.
Acharya, who had suffered from the ailments related to the liver, passed away during the course of treatment at Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu.
Acharya had served as news chief at the state-owned Nepal Television for two decades. Apart of the journalism, he had also served as a lecturer of the journalism. He is survived by wife and a daughter.
