Kathmandu, Nepal: Senior orthopedic doctor Govinda KC has been arrested from Jumla on Saturday.
Dr. KC, who had flown to Jumla district to resume his hunger strike against the alterations with the Medical Education Ordinance Replacement Bill, has been kept in police custody.
Police arrested KC citing the reason that any kind of strike including hunger strike, agitation and demonstration are banned within 200 meters District Administration Office (DAO).
