Kathmandu, Nepal,June 25, 2025: The Special Court has ordered to release the former Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN United Socialist Party chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal on bail of Rs 3.5 million in the land embezzlement case related to Patanjali Yoga Peeth and Ayurveda Company.
A bench of Special Court Judges Tej Narayan Singh Rai, along with Ram Bahadur Thapa and Bidur Koirala, ordered the government to release Nepal on bail on late Wednesday evening evening.
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had filed a case against 93 people, including former Prime Minister and Chairman Nepal on 22nd Jestha.
