Kathmandu, Nepal, March 1, 2022: The 18th edition of Pulsar Sports Award is going to be held at the Nepal Academy in Kathmandu on March 22, 2022.
Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF), the organizer of the award, has announced the date amid the signing in ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with main sponsors Hansraj Hulaschand and Company Pvt Ltd on Sunday.
NSJF President Durganath Subedi and Executive Director of Hansraj Hulaschand and Company Abhimanyu Golchha had signed in the MoU.
The NSJF General Secretary Prajwal Oli has said that this year’s Award would be held in a different manner compared to previous editions. Various sportspersons of different eight different categories will be honored with the Sports Award, he said at the function.
It is said that this year’s award features as Player of the Decade in male and female category, Coach of the Decade, Special, Asian Sports Journalist Award, People's Choice Para-athlete and Lifetime Achievement Award.
During the function, it was informed that the winners of male, female, coach and people's choice category will bag Pulsar motorcycle each while other four awardees will receive Rs 50,000 as cash prize with other gifts.
