Kathmandu, Nepal, November 21, 2019: The Supreme Court (SC), the Apex Court of the country, has reduced about fifty percent capital gains tax. 

Issuing the full text of the verdict on Thursday, the SC has said that the Ncell has to pay Rs 21,103,971,565 as the capital gains tax in against the Rs 39.06 billion determined by the Large Taxpayers' Office under the Nepal government. 

Ncell , one of the largest telecommunications companies in the country, had moved to the court the tax assessment made by the Large Taxpayer Office (LTO) was higher than it has to pay to the government.
