Kathmandu, Nepal, January 23, 2022: Surya Nepal NPGA Match Play, the third event of the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2022-2023 season, is going to be played at the Royal Nepal Golf Club from today (Tuesday).
Of the top 20 professionals from the order of merit of the season 2020-21, 16 golfers qualified are going to compete in the event, which is going to conclude on January 26.
According to the organizer, Surya Nepal, all match play events will be played over 18 holes. However, the final match will be played over 36 holes.
The first round of the games will take place on Tuesday while the quarter-finals and semi-finals will be held on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
The winner of the tournament will bag a purse of Rs60,000. Likewise, the runners-up will receive Rs42,000 while the third-placed and the fourth-placed golfer will walk away with Rs32,000 and Rs24,000, respectively.
