Kathmandu, Nepal, October 18, 2022: Withstanding to the complaints against of the name, the name of the film 'Bhagwat Geeta' is going to be changed. The film is scheduled to shooting from November 20.
The film directed by Jharna Thapa was dragged into controversy over the name as 'Bhagwat Geeta,' the holy book of Hindus.
The production unit has said that the name of the film is going to be changed soon. However, the new name of the film is not revealed yet.
The production unit reached on the conclusion to change the name of the film after a complaint was filed in the Film Development Board regarding the naming of the film as 'Bhagwat Gita'.
The film produced by Sunil Kumar Thapa was scheduled to start shooting from last July. But it was delayed due to illness of producer Thapa. According to the producer, the film will be released on May 1, 2080.
The film, which is planned to shot in Janakpur and Darchula, is being starred by Suhana Thapa as hero. However, the name of the heroine and other actors are not revealed yet.
