Kathmandu, Nepal, August 25, 2020: Nepal´s total numbers of coronavirus infection cases have reached to 33,533 after 855 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
Among the newly identified cases, 232 were from Kathmandu valley alone. This is the highest daily spike in the Valley.
According Dr. Jageshowr Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, of the newly confirmed cases, Kathmandu district alone witnessed 199 while 19 in Lalitpur and 14 in Bhaktapur.
With the new additional, total infection cases in the Valley has climbed to 3,486. Of them 2756 in Kathmandu, 444 in Lalitpur and 286 in Bhaktapur districts, spokesperson Gautam said during the press briefing.
