Kathmandu, Nepal, May 30, 2020: With the identification of 189 more positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) during the past 24 hours in various parts of the country, tally has climbed to 1401 in Nepal.
This number has broken the record of single day positive cases in Nepal.
The Ministry of Health and Population has also stated that of the infected, 109 people were from Kapilvastu district, 17 from Sarlahi district, 14 from Dailekh district, 11 from Siraha district, nine from Saptari district, seven from Dhanusha district, six from Rautahat district, five from Dang district, four from Mahottari district, two each from Parsa and Sankhuwasabha districts, and one each from Bara, Jhapa and Lalitpur districts.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, as of Saturday, 53 districts of all provinces have witnessed the transmission of COVID-19.
